Perch Base Submarine Veterans (USSVI) Life Member and Treasurer Joe Trotter met the USS Arizona Legacy Foundation's new President and CEO, Nicole LaSlavic on Thursday, May 2, 2024.
Joe provided a general introduction to the submarine community and the USSVI.
Established in 2021, the USS Arizona Legacy Foundation is dedicated to supporting the commissioning of the fourth U.S. Navy vessel in American history to bear the name Arizona. Their vision is to honor the memory of the USS Arizona battleship BB-39 while shaping the future legacy of the USS Arizona Virginia-class fast attack submarine SSN-803.
